In The right time to… Silvia Gribaudi, together with dancer Giacomo Luci , explores the notion of presence and absence in our relationships to one and other. Aiming for a sense of collectivity they intuitively search for the right moment to jump, to sit, to watch, to wait, to connect, to belong. With his virtuous moves and transparent presence, Luci entices you into an intimate space, where we can jointly share and celebrate the space and time we are in.”
L’idée de ce programme, unissant un danseur du Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon à un chorégraphe dans un solo qui lui est consacré, est née pendant la pandémie. Elle témoignait de cette nécessité vitale de danser encore, malgré tout, obstinément. Mais, au-delà des circonstances, il s’agissait pour la nouvelle directrice, Julie Guibert, de mettre un coup de projecteur sur ces interprètes exceptionnels, en permettant au public de faire connaissance avec la troupe. À Chalon, ce sera la première fois que la totalité de ce concept sera déployé avec sept solos, dont quatre seront créés pour cet événement, dans un parcours investissant l’intérieur et l’extérieur de l’Espace des Arts.”
